Highland champion Jenny Milne played very well but lost to the eventual runner up Lesley Robertson in the quarterfinals.

Congratulations to Alison Bartlett and Sally Rowan who won the Beddows Quaich with a fantastic 64 net. Susan Glen and Sarah Murray were 3rd with 66 net. Melanie Anderson was 4th in the Patrick Rosebowl with 71 net. well done ladies.

Congratulations to our Highland team who beat Northern 5 - 4 to win the Lyon Trophy for the 4th year in a row.
A great effort from our team of Captain Sally Rowan, Jenny Milne, Lynne Fraser, Jane Nicolson, Eileen Manson, Muriel McCulloch, June Clark, Ruth Urquhart and Yvonne Wilcox.
Thank you all for representing Highland, a special mention to Jane and Eileen for travelling from Stornoway and Thurso for the match.

Scotland are Champions
Scotland won the Miller Stirling Salver in a nail biting afternoon at Kilmarnock Barassie. Having won the opening two matches against the south and the midlands our girls were one win away from overall dominance. The girls put up a fighting performance against the north but were narrowly beaten by 5.5 - 3.5. A nervous wait on the result of the match between midlands and south added to the tension. This match was thankfully tied and the team and the officials could relax and enjoy the moment. Its 15 years since we last won this event. We therefore congratulate Captain Lynne Fraser and her victorious team for this achievement.

SSWGA Highland – Championship Finals
Held at Inverness Golf Club on Tuesday 1st July 2025
Both finals today were very close, going to the18th, with good golf and played in a very sporting manner. Congratulations to our Champions for 2025, Jenny Milne (Elgin) in the scratch and Muriel McCulloch (Inverness) in the handicap. Commiserations to the runners up, Alison Bartlett (Royal Dornoch) and June Clark (Abernethy).
